About Me

Dr. Auyeung completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, followed by physician training at St. George and St Vincent’s Hospitals. He subspecialised in Respiratory medicine at Concord and Sutherland hospitals, followed by further training in Sleep medicine and Respiratory failure at St. George Hospital. Following the completion of his fellowship, he was appointed to clinical positions at two major tertiary hospitals in Sydney – St. George Hospital and Concord Hospital.

Dr Auyeung holds advanced medical qualifications including a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology), Graduate Certificate in Allergic Diseases, and Clinical Ultrasound. He has a strong passion and interest in research and evidence based medicine and has presented at prestigious international conferences and is the recipient of multiple national research awards. He is also active in physician training and teaching; dedicating a significant amount of his time teaching basic physician trainees and medical students. He has also been a lecturer at both the University of Sydney and University of New South Wales medical schools.

Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Auyeung had a diverse background in science, engineering, and finance. Born and raised in Canada, he completed degrees in Medical Laboratory Science, followed by Biomedical Engineering. He later worked in investment banking in Asia before transitioning to a career in medicine. Dr Auyeung has also been involved in medical volunteer work in underserved regions, including Panama and Ethiopia. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys swimming, tennis, and skiing.
